Internal Admin Web App Build
Budget: $3,000 – $5,000 USD
Title: Internal Admin Web App (Orders + Inventory + PDF Tickets + Delivery Fee)
Description:
I need a private internal web app (login required) to replace spreadsheets for operations. This is NOT an e-commerce store and will NOT process payments.
Core features (V1):
• User login (1–3 users)
• SKU-driven item catalog (import from CSV preferred)
• Create orders (customer/contact + address + pickup/delivery + scheduled date/time window)
• Add cut list lines (qty + length) with automatic total calculations
• Generate a printable PDF ticket per order (server-side)
• Simple inventory tracking for two categories:
1. “bulk inventory” (e.g., coils/material lots: start qty, used qty, on-hand)
2. “unit inventory” (accessories by SKU with on-hand qty)
• Deduct/log consumption per completed order (basic)
• Order statuses: New → Paid/Deposit → In progress → Ready → Completed
• Basic dashboard: daily orders + open orders by status
• Delivery fee: when address entered, calculate distance from fixed origin using a maps API and apply fee rule (base + per-mile). Show miles + fee on order and PDF.
Deliverables (required):
• Source code in a Git repo (I own 100%)
• Database schema + migrations
• Setup/deploy guide (Docker preferred but not required)
Out of scope:
• Payment processing, accounting, full ERP
Proposal must include:
• Fixed price + milestone breakdown
• Estimated timeline
• Similar internal admin apps you’ve built
• Recommended stack (I’m open)
