We are seeking an experienced developer to implement Greek character support in thermal printer receipts within our existing food delivery application. The application is developed using Ionic 5 and integrates with a Bluetooth thermal printer that now supports Greek uppercase characters.
Objectives:
Modify Existing Script: The current system includes a script that transliterates Greek characters into English due to the previous printer's limitations in supporting Greek characters. This script needs to be modified or replaced to enable the printing of Greek uppercase characters directly.
Receipt Layout Change: Update and optimize the receipt layout to accommodate Greek characters and improve overall aesthetics and functionality.
Technical Requirements:
Proficient in Ionic 5 and Angular.
Experience with Bluetooth thermal printers and character encoding.
Ability to work with both frontend and backend aspects of the application as necessary.
