Project Description:
We’re looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer to build an MVP for a data-driven web platform.
The product is a dashboard-style application that aggregates structured data from multiple sources and presents it through a clean, modern interface. It will also include a simple AI-powered chat assistant that lets users query the underlying data.
We’ll provide:
Detailed design mockups (UI/UX).
A clear technical brief outlining functionality and stack.
A small, structured sample dataset (in Excel) to guide database design.
The goal is to move fast and build a functional MVP that is technically sound, scalable, and visually aligned with the provided mockups.
Core Requirements:
Frontend:
Next.js / React / TypeScript, hosted on Vercel.
Use modern component libraries (e.g. ShadCN, Mantine, or similar).
Implement data visualisations (Recharts / Highcharts).
Focus on simplicity and speed — clean layout, no unnecessary complexity.
Backend:
Supabase (PostgreSQL) for database and authentication.
Design scalable data schema (teams, metrics, financials, etc.).
Set up periodic API fetching for small data updates (social, results, etc.).
Handle basic CRUD and structured storage.
AI Integration:
Integrate a lightweight AI chat assistant connected to stored data.
Use the OpenAI API (or similar) with clear, modular implementation.
Ideal Candidate:
Has built and launched MVPs or dashboard-type web apps before.
Strong full-stack experience (Next.js, Supabase, TypeScript).
Fully adopted AI coding tools (e.g. Copilot, ChatGPT) in daily workflow.
Writes clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Communicates clearly and works well in short, agile cycles.
Workflow & Expectations:
Weekly 1-hour call to review progress, align next steps, and discuss priorities.
Twice-weekly async updates (short written summaries with Vercel preview links).
Code hosted on GitHub, with previews deployed on Vercel.
Developer will log time via Clockify (or Toggl Track) for transparency, tagging hours by feature (e.g. “Backend setup”, “Frontend Financials page”).
Deliverables:
Functional Supabase backend seeded with sample data.
Frontend built in Next.js and hosted on Vercel.
3–4 key pages (Dashboard, Overview, Analysis, Chat).
AI chat assistant integrated and querying Supabase.
Documentation and brief setup guide.
Duration:
~6–8 weeks for MVP delivery (depending on availability and experience).
