Full-Stack Developer Needed for Educational Platform Restructuring and Development -- 2
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
We are seeking a highly skilled Full-Stack Developer to lead the restructuring and development of an existing educational platform. This role involves backend optimization, transitioning the frontend to Vue.js, and ensuring a seamless user experience. The developer will also oversee the future integration of a dedicated Front-End Developer (Vue.js specialist) and UI/UX Designer as part of the team.
Core Responsibilities:
1. Backend Optimization:
- Refactor and optimize the backend using Laravel 11 to reduce technical debt, improve maintainability, and enhance performance through query optimization and advanced caching strategies.
- Transition API communication to GraphQL for efficient data fetching while retaining REST endpoints for simpler operations like user authentication and file uploads.
2. Frontend Redevelopment (SPA):
- Redesign and redevelop the frontend as a Single Page Application (SPA) using Vue.js 3.
- Gradually phase out Bootstrap, jQuery, and AJAX dependencies.
- Implement Axios or Fetch API for REST requests and Apollo Client for managing GraphQL queries.
- Emphasize Server-Side Rendering (SSR) using Inertia.js or Nuxt.js to ensure optimal SEO performance.
3. Mobile Application Development:
- Develop independent mobile applications for iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin) or use hybrid frameworks like React Native or Flutter.
4. New Feature Development & Performance Enhancement:
- Design, develop, and integrate new features to enhance user interaction and educational effectiveness.
- Apply advanced caching strategies to ensure high-quality code performance.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong expertise in Laravel 11 for backend refactoring and optimization.
- Advanced experience with Vue.js 3 for SPA development.
- Mastery of JavaScript, CSS, MySQL, and API development (GraphQL integration with REST).
- Proven experience in mobile application development (native or hybrid frameworks).
- Familiarity with Inertia.js or Nuxt.js for SSR implementation.
- Ability to work independently with legacy systems during the transition phase.
Work Terms:
- Working Hours: Developers must be available from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM Saudi Arabia time to align with our operational needs.
- Dedication & Teamwork: Work diligently with integrity while integrating seamlessly with the team.
- Daily Hours: Four hours per day (remote work).
- Collaboration: Tasks will involve screen-sharing meetings with the team.
- Task Agreement: Tasks and estimated hours will be agreed upon before starting any assignment.
- Weekly Payment: Payments will be made weekly after verification of high-quality task delivery.
- Direct Engagement Only: No brokers or agencies; direct engagement with developers is mandatory.
Additional Requirement:
Each developer must state their hourly rate in their quote.
