Forgot Password Needed for Laravel and Ionic apps

I have an existing Laravel web app and an Ionic / Angular frontend app. I need someone to create a Forgot Password standard process for me. I use a MySQL database. I am not sure how to handle the mail part of this. The idea would be, someone could click Forgot Password, they would enter their email, and it would send that person an email to reset their password. We already have standard user registration and when registering, the user must go to their email to click a link to verify their email.

Please tell me how much this would cost. We use Ionic 7 and the most recent version of Laravel. This should be very easy for most programmers to do.
