Currently, I'm working on an Angular 2+ application. However, I am encountering an issue - an HTTP error is popping up post making an API request. The API I'm interacting with is a REST API.

A deep understanding of working with REST APIs, specifically in Angular, is also crucial here, as the problem seems to occur during the API request.
