About the Project
We are seeking a skilled and experienced freelance full stack developer based in the UK to help enhance and further develop a live matchmaking app. Tech Stack required: Flutter, Node.js, Angular, and Firebase. This is a hands-on development role focused on improving in-app messaging and overhauling the UI/UX.
Key Tasks
In-App Messaging Improvements
Implement read receipts for messages
Add support for multimedia sharing (images, videos)
Integrate voice and video calling (code will be provided)
Remove number sign-in and keep email sign in/sign up only
Fix bugs and errors
UI/UX Overhaul
Redesign navigation layout for better usability
Refresh color scheme and typography
Enhance the user profile interface for a more engaging experience
Ideal Candidate
Based in the UK (applications from outside the UK will not be considered)
Individual freelancers only – no agencies please
Proven experience with:
Flutter (mobile App development iOS/Android)
Node.js and Angular (backend and web interface)
Firebase (authentication, real-time database, cloud functions)
Strong UI/UX design sensibility
Demonstrated experience implementing in-app messaging features
Desirable: Experience with AWS cloud functions
