Email Productivity Tool for Gmail & Outlook

Build an email add on for outlook and chrome
Overview
We’re looking for a UK-based freelance developer to build an MVP for a browser/email productivity tool. This will involve building two lightweight extensions (Gmail + Outlook) and a simple backend that handles intelligent prompt logic and minimal interaction logging.

The project is privacy-first, read-only in terms of email data without storing user content.

Project Scope
Frontend (Gmail + Outlook):

Gmail Integration:
Build a Chrome extension
Use Gmail API (read-only)
Detect email content triggers
Prompt user via popup
Outlook Integration:
Build an Outlook Add-in using Office.js
Authenticate via Microsoft Graph API (read-only mail access)
Trigger prompt logic similarly to Gmail version
Backend (API & Logic):

REST API using FastAPI / Flask / Node.js
Logic layer for detecting redundant triggers (based on known user context)
Logging of prompt usage (no email content stored)
MongoDB/Firebase for settings + minimal logs
Hosting & Deployment:

Set up dev and prod environments (Vercel, Replit, or similar)
Assist with Chrome Web Store and Microsoft AppSource submissions
Must-Haves
UK-based (for timezone and data protection alignment)
Chrome extension experience (JavaScript or React)
Gmail API (OAuth2, read-only scopes)
Outlook Add-in development using Office.js and Microsoft Graph API
Secure backend/API development (Python or JS)
Strong communication with non-technical founders

Basic hosting and install docs

Full set of all systems from web to add-ins and backend. Full working system expected.
