Chat Component - Angularjs - Socket.io

Hi,
I have a website that is written in angularjs. The website is mostly serverless and uses Firebase for authentication.
We want to extend the functionality to include a chat component. The UI for the chat is *partially* built.
The back end of the chat will use socket.io through nodejs. The first goal now is to build a one on one chatting system. The features of the chat include:
*messages reaching instantly if the user is logged in.
*messages being saved to Firebase.
*possibility to read messages after you log in.
Experience with angular js, nodejs and some knowledge of databases is a must. If you don't know these things please don't waste your time. I am a nodejs developer myself and I will be able to judge your skill level. Socket.io knowledge is a plus but not required. Requirement level on angular: slightly less than intermediate.
As I said, I am a technical person and I will walk you through the requirements. You will be invited to a git repository and I expect good git knowledge.
Time limit: First goal must be reached by Friday GMT time at most.
You need to be willing to start immediately on this one.
