Build Digital Staff Portal + Mobile App Integration (Next.js / Vercel / Supabase) – Dynamic Form System
Budget: $75 – $150 USD
We are building a digital staff management and documentation platform for a supported living service. The system will manage:
- Client support plans
- Risk assessments
- Staff records
- Incident reports
- Governance logs
- Worker timesheets
- Daily task records
The platform will include approximately 150 form pages, built from two master form templates, meaning the structure repeats. All form structure, text content, and much of the code will be supplied by us using AI assistance.
Your Role as Developer:
- Implement the platform architecture.
- Connect the backend.
- Structure the forms properly.
- Ensure the system runs correctly on the chosen platform.
- Deploy and test the system.
Note: Tasks may be tweaked if needed during development to ensure smooth implementation.
Platform Architecture:
Frontend: Next.js (React Framework)
Deployment Platform: Vercel (free tier initially)
Database: Supabase (PostgreSQL)
Storage: Supabase Storage for photos, short videos, and document uploads.
Mobile App Integration:
The portal will connect with a Flutter mobile application used by workers to submit forms, upload files, log tasks, and authenticate login. A Flutter project already exists but files are too large to send via email and will be shared via cloud if required.
Portals to Be Developed:
1️⃣ Management Portal (Admin Backend): Accessible only to designated managers with role-based access control for sensitive information. Functions include:
- View all submitted forms and edit entries if corrections are required.
- Manage workers, clients, bookings, staff rota, risk assessments, incident reports, support plans, and governance logs.
- Export data as PDF/Word/Excel/CSV.
2️⃣ Worker Portal / Mobile Access: Workers can access forms through:
- Login Portal: For completing tasks and submitting forms.
- Secure URL Links: Sent via email or WhatsApp with expiry times for GDPR compliance.
Form System Requirements: Forms must support:
- Save, submit, edit, revisit later using secure URLs sent to workers.
- Version tracking with audit trails recording staff name, date/time of modifications.
- Data entry tools like date pickers, drop-down lists, multi-select options.
- File uploads for photos (short videos up to 2 minutes), documents.
- Digital signatures for workers/managers/clients/social workers.
- Export options for PDF/Word/Excel/CSV.
WordPress Migration: Review our existing WordPress site containing some form structures and migrate/rebuild it in the new architecture using Next.js + Supabase + Vercel.
Worker App Functions: The mobile app must support:
- Login/logout.
- Timesheets and hourly/daily task logs.
- Submitting forms with file uploads.
Communication Requirement: The developer must be comfortable with occasional screen sharing using Chrome Remote Desktop for walkthroughs or debugging.
Number of Pages: Approximately 150 form pages based on repeating template structures.
Budget: $150 USD (strictly non-negotiable). No additional payments will be made later.
