I am looking for a mobile app developer or website developer to create a platform that matches people in South Africa with mental health professionals. The main objective of this app is to provide education to users, helping them make informed choices about their mental health care options. As well as to help professionals reach potential clients.
Platform:
- The app will be developed for Android and iOS unlsss a website would be better.
Features:
- The app will include interactive questionnaires to help users assess their mental health needs.
- The app will also provide educational resources to users to help them gain knowledge about different mental health professionals and their specialties.
- The app would provide mental health professionals with access to clientele.
- For the sake of privacy and confidentiality of my idea I would prefer not to share more of my ideas related to the project.
- And potentially so much more.

Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Experience in Android and iOS app development is essential (unless a website would be better for this idea).
- Knowledge of mental health and psychology in South Africa would be advantageous. (I am a registered counsellor in South Africa so I could provide a lot of information and advice, I do intend to have a hands on approach rather than just leaving it in your hands and not providing feedback, this is very important to me and my country so I want to do the best I can to ensure this is done properly and so you don’t feel thrown into the deepend).
- Familiarity with designing interactive questionnaires and educational resources within an app is preferred.
- Knowledge of South African culture and multiculturalism would be advantageous.
- Willingness and interest to engage as a team would be appreciated.
