mobile app for capturing values from a page (both printed and handwritten characters)
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I am looking for a skilled mobile app developer who can create an app that is capable of capturing both printed and handwritten characters. The app will primarily be used on Android devices.
in this application users will simply scan a line or two of text. these need to go into a table in their appropriate columns (max 10 columns).
sometimes these will have been written by hand and need to be captured also. A printed page with boxes/placeholders will be used for making manual entries.
Users are expected to upload these scanned values to excel or CSV file export or any other comma or tab-delimited file.
Approximately 100 such scans will be done in a day and may be done in succession throughout the day.
Example of values:
AA=1.22 BB=2.2 CC=3.3 DD=4.4
numbers can vary upto 20 or 25 , max 7 -10 columns.
Excel sheet will have the preceding letters as column numbers, and only values need to be in the cells.
after capture we should see each item and in case of doubt the user should be queried if the handwritten text is not recognised and should be able to correct it.
Key requirements for the project:
- The app should have the ability to accurately capture both printed and handwritten characters with a high level of accuracy, exceeding 90%.
- It should be compatible with Android operating systems.
Ideal skills and experience for the job:

- Experience in character recognition technology, with a focus on achieving high levels of accuracy.
