iOS Trip Tracking App

This app is intended to be used by drivers and it will monitor their location and update a SQL database with their coordinates.
The workflow is that the driver will receive a code via SMS. They will input this code into the app and this will start their trip. While they are on their trip is active, their location while be tracked on either intervals of time or distance. The location will be reported by inserting the coordinates of the driver into a SQL database. Once the driver arrives to their destination or is close to it, the app will end the trip in 30 minutes and location will stop being tracked.
Chances are this might be needed for Android as well.
