An app for mental health
Budget: ₹37,500 – ₹75,000 INR
WEolve
I have an idea to create an app that helps with the mental health of today's youth. I was talking with a friend a few days ago and she told me that she was taking therapy reason being that when she was younger she had been sexualized and had mental trauma after that. That got me thinking. I know that this is an unusual topic especially for a tween like myself but there are so many incidents like these that have taken place and not even been reported since many victims do not even know what is happening with them or even if they do, they have been told not to talk about "these things" at home or are just told to let it be. WEolve will be an app where expert therapists and psychologists will be present to talk to the user and give them information about whatever situation they are in.
The difference between this app and other apps on the market is that this app will be created especially for minors and an app that can be used without adult consent. I am sure that a few psychologists and therapists will sign up for free but to grow our base we will need funding for which we can either have fundraisers or ask for funding from companies such as Clarigent Health,7Cups, etc. Every hour one student commits suicide in India, with about 28 such suicides reported every day, according to data compiled by the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB). The NCRB data shows that 10,159 students died by suicide in 2018, an increase from 9,905 in 2017, and 9,478 in 2016. Between January 1, and December 31, 2019, India lost more than 1.7 lakh students to suicide, only because of mental health problems. WEolve could help these troubled students not only in India but the whole world.I need a coder to create the app. I cannot pay much right now ( being a twelve year old ) but I promise you your time will not be wasted .
