Project Scope: WooCommerce Mobile App Integration and Store Deployment
WE DO NOT WANT A NEW APP DEVELOPED FROM SCRATCH.
Objective
To integrate the FluxStore WooCommerce App with your current WooCommerce website, fully customize and configure the app, and ensure successful deployment on both iOS (Apple App Store) and Android (Google Play Store), following all platform-specific requirements.
Project Phases
Phase 1: Project Setup & Preparation
1. Source Code Review
o Download and review the purchased FluxStore codebase.
o Ensure license validity and compatibility with latest Flutter and WooCommerce versions.
2. Initial Setup
o Setup Flutter environment (Android Studio, Xcode, Dart SDK).
o Clone your WooCommerce site on a staging environment for safe API testing.
3. API & WooCommerce Configuration
o Generate and configure REST API keys from WooCommerce.
o Enable and test JSON API access.
o Set CORS headers correctly if using external domains.
Phase 2: App Configuration & Customization
1. Basic App Configuration
o Connect your WooCommerce site with lib/config/config.dart.
o Customize site URL, API keys, language, currency, and shipping zones.
2. Branding & UI Customization
o Replace logos, color themes, splash screens.
o Customize onboarding screens, homepage layout, and fonts (as needed).
3. Plugin Compatibility Checks
o Ensure compatibility with WooCommerce plugins like payment gateways, membership, bookings, etc.
4. Deep Linking & Push Notifications
o Setup Firebase for push notifications and dynamic links.
o Configure OneSignal or Firebase Messaging.
Phase 3: Payment & Shipping Integration
1. Payment Gateway Setup
o Configure payment methods (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, Razorpay, local gateway).
o Test end-to-end payment flow.
2. Shipping Configuration
o Verify WooCommerce shipping methods reflect correctly in-app.
o Enable location-based shipping logic if applicable.
Phase 4: Mobile Build & Testing
1. Build for Android and iOS
o Generate signed APK and IPA files.
o Test on multiple screen sizes and devices (emulators + physical devices).
2. Debugging
o Identify and resolve any API issues, UI glitches, or build errors.
3. Quality Assurance
o Conduct UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
o Ensure app responsiveness, accuracy in cart/checkout flow, and real-time sync with website.
Phase 5: App Store & Play Store Deployment
Apple App Store:
• Setup Apple Developer Account.
• Create App Store listing (icons, screenshots, metadata, keywords).
• Configure App Store Connect, certificates, and provisioning profiles.
• Submit for review via TestFlight.
• Address any review feedback from Apple.
Google Play Store:
• Setup Google Play Developer Console.
• Create store listing (icons, screenshots, description, tags).
• Enable Firebase Crashlytics and Google services.json.
• Upload signed APK or AAB bundle.
• Submit for review and production.
Deliverables
• Fully functional iOS and Android apps connected to your WooCommerce store.
• App source code + build files (APK, IPA).
• Store listing configurations (assets, metadata).
• Documentation for future updates (branding, config, publishing).
• Support for initial deployment & bug fixes (30 days post-launch recommended).
