Urgent Kotlin Contacts Feature
Budget: ₹750 – ₹1,250 INR
I have an existing Android app written in Kotlin and I need two new screens finished within the next four hours:
• A full Contacts page that lists every contact in a RecyclerView, showing only the name and phone number for each entry.
• A Recent Contacts view that automatically pulls the last-interacted contacts into a separate list.
Both screens must support real-time search and optional filters so the user can quickly narrow results. The code has to slot cleanly into an MVVM architecture that already uses ViewModel, LiveData, and a Room database, so please follow that pattern and keep the UI in Material-design style.
Deliverables
1. Kotlin source files and XML layouts for both screens.
2. Any new DAO, entity, or repository classes required.
3. Brief readme explaining integration points and how to trigger the new pages.
Acceptance criteria
• Build runs without warnings or crashes.
• Search and filter return accurate results instantly.
• Lists show name + phone only; no extra fields.
• Recent Contacts list auto-updates after every interaction.
