Upgrade & Optimize Android Gradle System
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
IWe are currently seeking an experienced Android developer with deep expertise in Gradle to help us update, optimize, and maintain our project's build system. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Gradle scripts, dependencies, plugin configurations, and performance tuning.
Key Responsibilities:
Upgrade and configure Gradle and related dependencies.
Resolve any build issues or conflicts during the upgrade.
Optimize build performance (e.g., parallel builds, caching).
Ensure compatibility with the latest Android Studio and SDK versions.
Maintain a clean and scalable build setup for multi-module projects (if applicable).
Requirements:
Proven experience with Android development and Gradle configuration.
Strong understanding of Kotlin and/or Java.
Experience handling complex Gradle files and plugin integrations.
Ability to troubleshoot and fix build errors quickly.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools is a plus (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Bitrise).
Good communication and documentation skills.
Nice to Have:
Experience migrating from older versions of Android Gradle Plugin.
Familiarity with dependency injection (e.g., Dagger/Hilt), Jetpack Compose, or modular architecture.
Knowledge of ProGuard/R8, Lint checks, and build variants.
