Update Android App's Depreciated Code

We need to update our code as some of it has been depreciated.
We will supply the code - your job is to update this code with the correct substitutions. It will need to work with the mavenCentral() repo as we only use this.
We will also need to replace our current ‘synnapps carousel’ with new carousel compatible with mavenCentral().
