I’m looking for an experienced app developer to create a user-friendly navigation app tailored specifically for truck drivers in Australia and New Zealand. The app should aim to save time, reduce stress, and improve efficiency by offering the following features:
- GPS navigation from the driver’s current location to entry points.
- Real-time traffic updates with live road detour notifications.
- Caution indicators: Flashing yellow alerts for caution, red alerts for stop/check situations, and blue alerts to contact operations teams.
- Alerts for upcoming fixed speed cameras (permitted in NSW).
- Service station/truck stop locator based on brand (e.g., BP, Ampol) with filters for truck accessibility.
- Customizable inputs for truck height, weight, and dimensions to avoid restricted roads (e.g., low bridges or weight/length limits).
