Convert HTML5 Game to Mobile App (Must be in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam)
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
Location: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam (Required for occasional in-person meetings)
Project Description: I have an existing web-based puzzle platform (redividers.app) containing two distinct word games. The stack is HTML/CSS/JS. One game currently uses Firebase for user authentication and stats.
I am looking for an experienced developer based in Ho Chi Minh City to wrap these games into a single native mobile app (iOS & Android) using Capacitor (preferred) or Cordova. We will work remotely most of the time, but I require a local candidate so we can meet occasionally for planning and review.
I do NOT want the games rewritten from scratch. I want to use the existing web code in a native container, but properly optimized for the App Store.
Scope of Work: 1. The Wrapper (iOS & Android)
Create a native project using Capacitor.
Ensure the app complies with Apple App Store Guideline 4.2 (Minimum Functionality). It must feel like an app, not just a website in a browser.
Offline Mode: The app logic/assets must be bundled locally so the game works without internet (after fetching data).
2. Navigation Structure (Two Games)
Since there are two games, the app must launch to a native "Home/Menu" screen that allows the user to select which game to play.
Implement a navigation bar or "Home" button so users can easily switch between games.
3. Data Migration (Crucial)
Currently, puzzle words are hardcoded in the HTML.
Task: Move the puzzle data to Firebase Firestore.
Task: Update the game JavaScript to fetch "Today's Puzzle" from Firebase and cache it locally on the device.
Goal: I must be able to add new puzzles via the Firebase Console without submitting a new app update.
4. Monetization
Ads: Integrate AdMob (Interstitial ads between levels or Rewarded Video for hints).
IAP: Integrate a single In-App Purchase: "Remove Ads" (Non-consumable).
5. Future Scalability
I plan to add a 3rd and 4th game later. Please structure the code so that adding a new HTML5 game folder to the project in the future is simple and low-cost.
Deliverables:
Full Source Code (Android Studio & Xcode projects).
Signed APK/AAB file (Android) ready for upload.
TestFlight build (iOS) for testing.
Assistance with final submission to Apple App Store & Google Play Console.
Requirements:
Must reside in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam (Required).
Proven experience with Capacitor/Ionic.
Experience with Firebase Firestore (JS SDK).
Experience getting web-wrappers approved by Apple.
