Stripe M2 & NFC Developer for Mobile App (Flutter Flow implementation)

Project Overview: FanBase Tickets is a mobile ticketing platform for youth sports events. We are seeking an experienced mobile app developer with expertise in Stripe Terminal SDK to help us establish a reliable connection between our app and the Stripe M2 Card Reader, as well as implement Tap to Pay functionality (NFC) for supported devices. This role will focus on reliable reader connection, including Bluetooth pairing, USB-C (wired mode), and NFC Tap to Pay.
Responsibilities:
• Establish a reliable connection between our mobile app (Android and iOS) and the Stripe M2 Card Reader (Bluetooth + USB-C).
• Implement Tap to Pay (NFC) functionality for phones and tablets using Stripe Terminal SDK.
• Debug and resolve any connection issues, including Bluetooth pairing timeouts.
• Ensure that the readers (M2 and Tap to Pay) can process payments in both Test Mode and Live Mode.
• Collaborate with our existing development team to integrate the working connection logic into the main app.
Requirements:
• Proven experience with Stripe Terminal SDK (M2 reader and NFC Tap to Pay experience strongly preferred).
• Strong expertise in Flutter, Dart, Android, and iOS development.
• Experience with Bluetooth connection handling and NFC implementation in mobile apps.
• Strong debugging skills with the ability to provide clear documentation.
• U.S.-based preferred for timezone compatibility and shipping of test hardware.
Hardware Policy:
• FanBase will ship a Stripe M2 reader directly to the selected developer.
• Developer must return the reader upon successful project completion.
• Shipping costs will be covered by FanBase.
Preferred:
• Previous experience with ticketing apps or payment systems.
• Ability to work independently and deliver results quickly.
Compensation:
• Hourly rate or fixed price (negotiable).
• Paid upon successful completion of working reader connection logic for both M2 (Bluetooth/USB) and Tap to Pay (NFC).
