My Android Studio project is already wired to Firebase; database reads and writes work as expected. The stumbling block is the authentication flow. I rely on Firebase Phone Number authentication, yet when I test Google Sign-In an error pops up on the app right after the credentials screen.
I want you to connect through TeamViewer, inspect only the Authentication-related activity/fragment, identify the misconfiguration or code mistake, and apply the fix while we’re on the call. Once the phone-number flow and Google sign-in complete without an in-app error, I’ll consider the task done and we can discuss further features I have in mind.
Deliverable: corrected, tested authentication code committed in my IDE during the session, along with a brief note of what was changed so I can learn from it.
