Secure Remote Desktop Solution for Android Notebooks

We are looking for an experienced developer/team to build a PC On-Demand service using Kubernetes and KubeVirt for our internal and external users. The solution will allow users to access Windows, Linux, or macOS remote desktops from Android-based notebooks equipped with 4G connectivity.

Key Features & Requirements:

Notebook Hardware & OS
• 14.1” Android 14-based laptop with 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, and essential I/O ports.
• AOSP-based custom image with Chromium in Kiosk Mode displaying connection, battery, and device settings.

User Features
• Secure access to remote desktops, MS Office, and business applications.
• Encrypted storage for documents, emails, and shared business data.
• Web portal for selecting desktop environments (Windows/Linux/macOS) via HTML5 client.
• Face recognition and user/password login options.
• Automated payment handling for unpaid services.

Remote Management & Support
• Dynamic DNS (DDNS) for automatic device registration.
• VNC-based remote support for troubleshooting.
• AT Commands support for managing 3G/4G network connections.

Updates & Security
• Secure remote update service using signed Debian package-based installation.
• Integration with ITIL-compliant service management for SLAs.

RU Farm (Remote Update Farm)
• Remote update & patch management over HTTPS.
• Network printer support via the cloud infrastructure.

Expected Deliverables:
• Fully functional Android AOSP-based OS image with custom Chromium browser.
• Web portal for user authentication, desktop selection, and support.
• Remote update and VNC-based management system.
• Secure integration with cloud infrastructure for desktops and storage.

Preferred Skills & Experience:
• Kubernetes, KubeVirt, and cloud-based VDI solutions.
• Android AOSP customization and embedded device development.
• Remote access technologies (VNC, RDP, WebRTC, etc.).
• Web development (HTML5, WebUSB, Chromium customization).
