Job Title

Robi SIM Procurement & SMS Testing Support (Bangladesh)

Project Overview

We are looking for a reliable freelancer based in Bangladesh to support us with Robi SIM card procurement and optionally assist with short-term and ongoing SMS routing testing on the Robi network.

This project has two possible scopes depending on your availability:

SIM Procurement Only (one-time task)
SIM Procurement + Testing Support (short-term or up to 1 month+ engagement)
Scope Option 1: SIM Procurement (Required)
Procure Robi SIM cards (minimum 4, potentially more)
Ensure SIMs are:
Properly registered and activated
Able to receive SMS and voice
Share SIM details and confirm readiness for testing

Important:

The SIM cards will be used only for Robi network testing of incoming traffic (OTP/SMS/voice)
No outgoing traffic will be generated from the SIM cards
Scope Option 2: Testing Support (Optional – Preferred)
Role: Short-Term SMS Routing Test Specialist (Robi Network)

If you are open to additional work, you can support testing activities over 2–3 days or longer-term (up to 1 month or more).

Requirements (for Testing Role):
Dual-SIM Android phone(s) (Android 10 or higher)
Ideally 2 devices (or at least 1 dual-SIM device)
4 active Robi SIM cards (2 per device)
Stable internet connection (Wi-Fi or mobile data)
Key Responsibilities:
Install our testing application (APK)
Grant required permissions:
SMS
Notifications
Call logs
Ensure all Robi SIM cards are active and receiving signal
Keep device(s):
Powered on
Connected to internet
Active during testing period
Verify that data is being uploaded to the cloud
Perform light monitoring (no manual reporting required)
Testing Duration:
Initial test: 2–3 days
Optional extension: up to 1 month or longer

Milestone 1: Setup

SIM cards procured and activated
Devices configured
App installed and permissions granted
Data successfully uploading

Milestone 2: Test Completion

Continuous operation completed over agreed test period
