Restore WhatsApp Backup on Android

I need help restoring my backed-up WhatsApp messages from Google Drive on the same Android device (Samsng Galaxy Fold 7). I've already uninstalled and reinstalled WhatsApp to trigger the restore process. I forgot the Password. I changed my Gmail account pwd but WhatsApp restore does not accept that Password.
