Reels/short videos not working appropriately on our app

Job ID: 37955573

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

We are looking for mobile developer who can develop reels/short video module with following features on both platforms(Android & iOS).

Developer needs to integrated this feature with our existing application which is written in Java(Android) & Swift(iOS).

Our Requirement:-

Auto-play Feature:

Videos must play automatically when the user scrolls the timeline.
If the previous video on the timeline is muted, the next video should automatically play on mute, and vice versa.
No play or pause button should be visible; the video should play automatically when it appears on the timeline.
If the video is initially played on 'mute,' and the user taps on the video to watch it as a reel for the first time, it will play with audio. However, for subsequent views, if the user mutes the video and then taps to watch it as a reel again, it will play on mute consistently.

Timeline Interaction:

User scrolling should stop the audio of the previous post automatically.
Once a video on the timeline ends, a click on the video should allow the user to watch it again in the reels.
While a video is playing on the timeline, a user can click on it to enter the reel session, and a back button must be provided to return to the timeline.
Mute and unmute interactions will not be connected to the operating system, like it must not be controlled the sound buttons, it will be only controlled by taps on the screen.

Mute/Unmute Button:

A mute/unmute button should be available on the videos with reduced opacity.

Scrolling Behavior:

When a user scrolls down, the previous post must stop playing automatically.
In cases where two videos are visible on the timeline, the post the user is scrolling towards should play, while the other one should be on mute and should not play until the user moves towards it.

Issue 2: Reels are not pre-loaded, and it buffers when the user scrolls down to the next reel.

Requirements:

Reel Caching:

20-25 Reels must be cached for at least 10 seconds before the user eventually scrolls to them.

Auto-play Feature:

Reels should play automatically when scrolled to; no play/pause button should be visible.

Pause Feature:

Users can pause a reel by long-pressing anywhere on the screen for reading or observing.

Mute/Unmute Interaction:

Reels must have an invisible mute and unmute button.
Users can mute or unmute the reel with a single tap anywhere on the video.
Mute or unmute icons should splash on the screen and then vanish immediately after tapping.
Mute and unmute interactions will not be connected to the operating system, like it must not be controlled the sound buttons, it will be only controlled by taps on the screen.

Continuity in Mute/Unmute:

If a user mutes a reel and scrolls to the next one, it should play without sound until the user unmutes it, and vice versa.
