React Native library for iBeacon Monitoring and Regioning
Budget: €250 – €750 EUR
We need a functioning React Native library which will allow us to detect and monitor for iBeacons while the app is running/not running/killed/not started both for iOS and Android with the following specs:
Android Dependencies
buildToolsVersion= 30.0.2
minSdkVersion = 24
targetSdkVersion = 32
googlePlayServicesVersion = 18.0.1
IOS Dependencies
IOS 12+
react-native Dependencies
react-native version : 0.68.1
Notifee/react-native version : 5.3.0
What we want:
To have an event (i.e. NativeEventEmitter,EventEmitter or any other proposed way) in react-native when a device enters the area of a registered iBeacon
To have an event(i.e. NativeEventEmitter or any other proposed way) in react-native when a device exits from a region of a registered iBeacon
The device (Android, iOS) should receive iBeacon data when the app is in the following states:
The app is not running (terminated)
The app is in use (foreground)
The app is running but not in foreground (background)
The iBeacons will be registered in react-native level with the library that you will build with the iBeacon's UUID.
Use-Case Scenario
1. The app is launched
2. An API endpoint is called (not in the scope of the project) to get the ΙBeacons uuid’s from the backend.
3. The iBeacons are registered (in rect native level) with the developed library.
4. We trigger an enter/exit event (in react-native level) of the developed library.
5. In enter/exit event we get the iBeacon's data (UUID, minor, major, batteryLevel)and we perform an API call to our backend.
6. We create a notification in react-native (i.e. με Notifee) and we display it to the user with the data from the beacon and API backend
**CAUTION**
We will not accept code which only runs under circumstances, for example the app is not killed, not in background, not terminated etc.
We will not accept code that is not adhering to the requirements of Google and Apple regarding publishing to Google Play and AppStore. The library should work under BLE specifications for beacons and should take account of the best practices enforced by Google and Apple regarding low energy limitations.
The library MUST be tested and cover all the above functions in order for payment to be released.
PLEASE DON'T BID IF YOU ARE NOT 100% CERTAIN YOU CAN DELIVER THE PROJECT
