Real-Time AI Theft Detection Using CCTV with WhatsApp Alert Integration



Project Description:

We are a retail business looking to develop an AI-powered system that connects to our existing CCTV cameras and detects suspicious behavior or theft attempts using gesture recognition and behavioral AI.



Once a potential incident is detected, we want to receive instant alerts via WhatsApp or other messaging apps on mobile devices.



Core Project Goals:



Integrate with our current CCTV (IP/RTSP cameras).
Use AI to detect gestures and behaviors that suggest shoplifting.
Send real-time alerts via WhatsApp, Telegram, or SMS.
Include a simple dashboard or alert log for reviewing events.




Required Skills:



AI & Machine Learning (especially in Computer Vision)
OpenCV, YOLO, MediaPipe, DeepStream (or equivalent)
Experience with CCTV feed integration
WhatsApp Business API, Twilio, or Telegram bot integration
Real-time video processing
