Idea: An app that makes swimming pool care easy.
- Ai Test strip analysis (recommended quality test kit - pH, Alkalinity, free chlorine, salt, calcium hardness, borates, CSI, Magnesium)
- AI calculated product additions to balance your pool levels.
- History storage.
- Maintenance reminders (backwashing, vacuuming, filter cleaning, flow rate etc).
- The ability to order products and services from a local providers (signed up to app as a provider, potential revenue stream from referral or percentage of order.
Expected app services:
- Authentication: Essential for managing user accounts securely. Auth must support various sign-in methods (email/password, Google, Facebook, etc.), making it easy for users to get started. I want to integrate this into both native and web apps.
-Cloud: Required for storing pool data (test strips, history, maintenance records, and costs. must scale well and handle structured data effectively.
-Cloud Messaging: CM needed to send reminders for water quality tests, cleaning schedules, and other maintenance tasks.
- AI analysis of test strip images and product calculations based on user pool data.
- Handle product ordering and service requests: When a user places an order or requests a service, notify the local provider, and update the order status (collect, delivery etc).
- Suggested hosting for the web app in addition to the native app. Hosting provider must be fast and secure for the web app's static assets (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Machine Learning: AI, machine learning or both to provide test strip analysis and product calculations. Depending on the complexity of the AI model, let's try and find a way to reduce latency and costs.
