I'm seeking an experienced Android developer to create a local, highly specialized chatbot app with a cloud-hosted LLM. The primary function of this app is to serve as a personal assistant chatbot. I will handle all the LLM engineering (Vector Embedding, LoRA tuning and managing parameters and hyperparameters to enable fast and accurate responses). I want to be able to wrap this up in a personal assistant UI to be publicly available, the app will have to make calls to the server where the LLM is held and some local/server side memory decisions will have to be made.
Note: I am a physicist who has spent some time looking at language models, and I have a decent understanding about the underpinnings of the current models and the parameter tuning methods present in the market right now. I obviously have functional coding knowledge, however, industry standard code is a skillset on its own, instead of learning this skill I would want to work on the LLM side and deliver a better, accurate and more optimised chatbot, ready to be packed into a product.
