Parking Lot Management App
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I need a straightforward mobile-first application that lets my parking-lot staff handle every car’s entry and exit from one screen and instantly see how much to charge.
Core workflow
• A vehicle is registered at the gate with plate number, automatic timestamp, and optional notes.
• When the same plate is checked out, the app calculates the total stay duration and the corresponding cost based on a rate table I can edit in the settings.
• A clear summary appears (entry time, exit time, total hours / days, amount due) so staff can collect payment or print a ticket.
Configurable items
– Hourly, daily, or flat-fee tariffs
– Currency and tax settings
– Simple dashboard showing current cars inside, today’s revenue, and historical logs exportable to CSV
Deliverables
1. Android and iOS builds (or a responsive PWA) ready to install.
2. Lightweight backend (Firebase, Supabase, or similar) to store vehicle logs securely.
3. Source code with setup instructions.
4. One short video or PDF that walks my staff through basic use.
Acceptance criteria
• Accurate tracking of entry/exit time to the minute
• Correct cost calculation for every rate scenario I test
• No data loss if the device goes offline temporarily; syncs once re-connected
If you have built similar ticketing or parking tools before, please mention it and share a demo or screenshots so I can review the flow.
