Painting Estimate & Design App

I need a cross-platform mobile app that runs smoothly on both iOS and Android and helps our painting customers answer two key questions before they pick up the phone: “How much will it cost?” and “How long will it take?”

Here’s the customer flow I have in mind:

• The user opens the app, snaps or uploads a photo of the area they want painted and then walks through a short form where they enter specific job details—room dimensions, number of coats, paint quality, surface condition, and any prep work.
• As each field is completed the app pulls from the pricing tables I’ll supply and instantly calculates a projected price range and timeline.
• A lightweight “free design” screen lets them tap through colour swatches on top of their photo so they can visualise the new look before committing. It doesn’t have to be full AR; a basic overlay is fine at this stage.
• When they’re happy, they can save the estimate to a PDF, email it to themselves, or press a single button to request a formal quote.

What I’ll provide:
– The pricing formulas, labour rates, and paint cost tables.
– Brand colours, logos, and any design assets.

What I expect back:
1. A fully functional mobile app compiled for the latest versions of iOS and Android (React Native, Flutter, or similar cross-platform tech is fine).
2. Clean, well-documented source code plus instructions for local builds.
3. A simple admin endpoint or panel where I can update prices and time estimates without redeploying the whole app.
4. Successful test build deployed to TestFlight and Google Play internal testing tracks.
