Open-source code to force links to open outside in-app browser (Threads/Instagram) - 19/09/2025 16:24 EDT

I am looking for a freelancer to deliver open-source, reusable code that ensures links shared through my domains do not open inside the in-app browser of Threads or Instagram, but instead open directly in Safari (iOS) or Chrome (Android).

The solution must:

Be simple, well-documented, and easy to apply to any of my domains.

Allow me to redirect users to any destination URL I choose.

Replicate exactly the deeplink technology used by getallmylinks.com, ensuring smooth cross-platform functionality.

Avoid non-viable approaches such as intent:// or similar workarounds.

Work on both iOS and Android; if it only works on Android, the solution will not be accepted.

Be fully open-source and reusable, with clear instructions.

Additional Requirements

I can provide access to my Cloudflare account if configuration is required.

The solution must replicate the same deeplink approach/technology that getallmylinks uses, not a simplified or partial workaround.

Any third-party outsourcing of the deeplink logic via unauthorized APIs from other services will not be accepted. The implementation must be completely proprietary and under my control.

Important Notes

Proposals that only recycle generic solutions or rely on invalid methods (intent://, etc.) will be rejected.

The solution must be proven to work on iOS; otherwise, proposals will not be considered.

AI/ChatGPT-generated proposals or messages will not be accepted. Only original, verifiable solutions from real developers will be considered.
