Nutrition Tracker iOS & Android App

Job ID: 40119891

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I’m ready to move from concept to working product on a mobile application whose single, clear purpose is to deliver evidence-based diet and nutrition advice. The idea is not a general-purpose wellness tool—workout tracking and meditation can wait for later versions—this release centres on food, fasting, and metabolic feedback.

Core experience
• Personalised meal planning: users answer a quick onboarding quiz, choose dietary preferences, and receive dynamic meal plans that update as they log progress.
• Intermittent-fasting support: selectable fasting windows, countdown timer, streak tracking, gentle reminders, and a progress journal.
• Glucose & ketone calculator: users enter finger-stick or CGM readings; the app plots trends, flags out-of-range values, and suggests food adjustments in plain language.

What I need from you
• Build a single shared codebase that compiles cleanly for both Android (latest SDK) and iOS (current Xcode version). I’m open to Flutter, React Native, or Kotlin Multiplatform—pick the stack you’re fastest with, but keep performance and future maintenance in mind.
• Design a modern, minimal UI that puts nutritional data front and centre. Think Apple Health aesthetics with bold, accessible colours for fasting states.
• Implement secure email / social log-in, offline caching for meal plans, and cloud sync so a change on one device appears instantly on the other.
• Provide unit tests for calculation logic and fasting timers, plus concise in-code documentation so another developer can extend the project later.
• Publish internal TestFlight and Google Play Console builds; help me clear the first-time submission hurdles.

Acceptance criteria
1. A user can sign up, complete onboarding, and receive a full seven-day meal plan in under three minutes.
2. Fasting timer must continue counting accurately when the app is backgrounded or the phone is restarted.
3. Glucose & ketone trend chart renders smoothly with 30-day data on devices as old as iPhone 8 and Galaxy S9.
4. No major crashes detected in Firebase Crashlytics after 48-hour beta test with at least 25 users.

I’ll supply all nutritional content, API keys, and brand assets; you bring the clean architecture and pixel-perfect build. If you’ve shipped a diet or health-tracking app before, I’d love to see it.
