Native Android Application debugging and development for maintaining continuous/self-correcting connection with BLE device via foreground service ( RELIABILITY is paramount )

We require a native Android developer (Java or Kotlin) with prior experience in working with BLE and foreground services. We need to be able to connect to a BLE device, and continuously listen for data, even when the application is in the background - this will be done through a foreground service. Reliability is of utmost importance, as we want the connection to persist in the background for long hours. If the connection breaks, we want it to auto-connect seamlessly and automatically without the user ever needing to take out his phone.
