1. Introduction
This document is intended to formalize the commissioning of the development of a new, innovative mobile application in the tourism and hospitality sector, named "BedAndSleep". Similar to well-established platforms such as Booking and Airbnb, BedAndSleep aims to offer an excellent user experience by facilitating the connection between hosts offering accommodations and guests seeking places to stay.
2. Application Objectives
BedAndSleep's goal is twofold: to simplify the management of advertisements for hosts and to make the search and booking of accommodations an intuitive and enjoyable process for guests. The application must provide advanced features for both user groups, ensuring security and ease of use.
3. Specific Requirements
3.1 Features for Hosts:
- Creation of advertisements with complete details: address (using google maps API for location, Reverse geocoding), capacity, number of rooms/beds/bathrooms, images, title, description and refund amount.
- Hosts are able to add, edit, or delete advertisements.
- Calendar to view and manage availability and see your check-in and check-out appointments.
- Viewing bookings and managing cancellations.
3.2 Features for Guests:
- Advanced search of advertisements with filters (Where - Location, When - Date range, Who - Number of people.)
- Map to search for advertisements in that area
- Review system to share post-stay experiences.
- Private chat to communicate directly with hosts.
- Functionality to save and share favorite advertisements.
Calendar to view your reservations.
- Possibility to book and to cancel a reservation.
- Possibility to read other guest reviews about an advertisement.
3.3 General Requirements:
- Users can edit their profile information, change their profile pictures, change their password in case they forget. They can also change email but they have to verify it through OTP sent by email.
- Users are able to become Hosts by adding a advertisements
- Intuitive interface suitable for all mobile devices.
- Secure registration and login process, with options for password recovery through OTP sent by email and phone number confirmation via OTP message.
- Ability to cancel bookings flexibly.
- Add a photo of personal identity document.
- Platform-only payments for those placing advertisements through Stripe.
- Multilingual support for global accessibility.
- Receive notifications when booking an advertisement and canceling an advertisement to both types of users and messages.

The project will be divided into phases, each with specific objectives and deadlines.
