Your Role
The goal is to take our existing Android mobile application and port it into the Pax Store. The Pax Store is a secure cloud-based (SaaS) platform that has its own hardware and payment solutions. Our team is using the Pax a920 and Pax a920 pro units, which are smart Android payment devices.
Responsibilities:
- Work on a list of bugs and issues on both iOS / Android platforms
- Be able to complete any outstanding ticket
- Maintain mobile applications for both Android and iOS platforms
- Collaborate with the team on creating an application that is both polished and meets the functional requirements
Desired Qualifications:
- Strong working knowledge of iOS (iOS15+ Xcode14+, Objective-C and Swift) and Android (SDK 4.1+, Java, Kotlin) platforms
- Experience designing and building user interfaces for both iPhone and iPad applications
- Experience developing APIs (Rest, XML)
- Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle and system development methodologies
- Knowledgeable of version control best practices
- Attention to details
- Ability to work in a team
- Exemplary written and verbal English skills
