Mobile Application Development - Wireless Media Transfer from Camera to Phone

I am looking to develop a mobile application that will support wireless media transfer from a camera to a phone. The application should be compatible with both iOS and Android devices, so a cross-platform application is desired. I would like the transfer speed to be average, not the fastest speed possible. Additionally, I have specific design elements and UI preferences for this app – I already have a design in mind and open for suggestions.
