Mobile App Development Project - Pitch Detection App for Android and iOS
We are looking for an mobile app developer to create a pitch detection app for both Android and iOS platforms. The app will be similar to most guitar tuner apps available in the market.
Key Features:
- Pitch Detection: The app should be able to accurately detect and display the pitch of a sound input in real-time and also from a loaded file.
- Frequency Analysis: The app should be able to analyze the frequency of the input sound and provide detailed information.
- Graphs: The App should show a graph of the sound detected, similar to the "Vocal Pitch Monitor" app found here https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tadaoyamaoka.vocalpitchmonitor.
- Save and Load: The app should be able to save a recorded audio and load them later similar to the App mentioned Above.
- Flutter (optional): If the design could be cross platform between android and iOS, it would be great, but you are free to use your preferred platform specific design language.
OpenSource code may be used to develop the App. You may use your own native code, or may use libraries like the TarsosDSP (https://github.com/JorenSix/TarsosDSP) or Beethoven (https://github.com/vadymmarkov/Beethoven).
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Strong proficiency in mobile app development for both Android and iOS platforms.
- Solid understanding of audio processing algorithms and pitch detection techniques.
- Experience in developing music-related apps or working with audio processing libraries would be a plus.
Timeline:
It's pretty much a basic App and shouldn't require too much time. Please prioritize the Android App.
The project needs to be completed within a month, so we are looking for developers who can prioritize and deliver the app on time.
