Mobile App Development

Hello iam working on a JavaScript music player but now i want to use ionic to build a hybrid mobile app. I want to fetch the local music files on the phone and then play. The bigest feature i want is to be able to get the song file meta data like title, image, artist, album, gener etc. iam still open to use other technologies that may be best for thsi purpoose but iam more familiar/comfortable with javascript.
