Mobile App Developer(s) Needed for Medical Networking MVP (iOS & Android)
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
Project Overview
We’re building BioQode, a platform connecting medical practitioners with pharmaceutical companies and related organizations. Our goal: foster secure collaboration for research, clinical trials, and medical development.
What We Need
• MVP Development for iOS and Android, focusing on:
1. User Registration & Login (Doctors, Pharma Companies, Employees)
2. Profile Creation & Management
3. Home Feed (posts, comments, “Interesting” likes, bookmarking)
4. Messaging (1:1 chat, attachments, voice optional)
5. Colleague Tab (suggested connections, search)
6. Discover Tab (company-driven public posts)
7. Basic Admin Portal (web-based) for user/content management and minimal analytics
We have approximately 15 Figma screens detailing the mobile UI/UX. You’ll receive these upon selection.
For the Admin Portal, we’ll provide an outline of functionality needed (e.g., viewing/moderating users, posts, and generating simple usage reports).
Tech Requirements
• Cross-Platform (React Native or Flutter preferred) or Native (Swift + Kotlin)
• Backend: Node.js / Python (Django/Flask/FastAPI)
• DB: MongoDB or PostgreSQL
• Hosting: AWS, Firebase, or similar
• Authentication: JWT-based or OAuth (Google, Microsoft, LinkedIn)
• Notifications: Firebase Cloud Messaging or similar
• Admin Portal (web-based): React/Vue/Angular or similar (your suggestion is welcome)
We’re open to your tech-stack recommendations if you can meet the MVP timeline (roughly 15–20 days).
Why the Project Is Unique:
We’re already working with three other teams on this exact MVP to compare approaches, quality, and communication. We’re seeking a fourth team to do the same scope of work. After evaluating all deliverables, we’ll select the best-performing team for subsequent feature builds and a long-term partnership.
What We Provide:
• Detailed Scope of Work (technical specifications, milestones)
• Figma Designs (~15 screens)
• Ongoing Feedback and quick responses to clarifications
What We Expect from You:
1. Proposed Milestone Plan & Itemized Costs
o Breakdown of tasks (e.g., user auth, feed, messaging, admin portal, etc.)
o Timeline estimates (aiming for 15–20 days total)
2. Regular Updates
o Daily or alternate-day check-ins
o Flexibility to address feedback or questions quickly
3. Clean, Well-Structured Code
o Maintainable for future feature expansions
o Secure handling of user data (hashed passwords, HTTPS)
Budget:
Please provide your fixed-price quote based on the MVP scope, including a basic admin portal. Indicate any additional costs (e.g., API usage, third-party libraries).
Next Steps:
• Apply with a brief intro of your relevant experience and approach to building cross-platform apps (and admin dashboards), plus example projects.
• After review, we’ll share the complete Scope of Work (technical details, milestone breakdown) with shortlisted candidates.
• Deadline: We aim to begin development ASAP and wrap up the MVP within 15–20 days.
Note: Because we’re comparing multiple teams, you’ll be asked to sign a simple contract confirming this scope. We’re transparent about our process and will compensate each team fairly for their work.
