Mobile App Developer Needed for Unique Social Networking Platform
Budget: £1,500 – £3,000 GBP
We are seeking an experienced mobile application developer to create a groundbreaking social networking app centered on facilitating real-life connections and engagements. This application will connect users based on their registered interests in specific activities, times, and locations.
Platform and Framework -
Android - React Native
Key Functionalities and Pages:
User Authentication: Secure user authentication where users can create and log in to their accounts using their email address and password. This involves creating a Sign Up/Login page with proper data encryption and session management.
User Profile: A User Profile page where users can add or edit their personal details and manage their account settings.
Engagement Registration: A feature that allows users to register engagements, specifying the activity type, location, and time. This includes creating an Engagement Registration page with relevant form fields and validation.
Matching Algorithm: A smart system that matches users based on their registered engagements, considering factors such as the type of activity, location, and time. For now, the matching can be straightforward and based on these key factors.
Real-time Chat: A secure chat system that lets users send and receive messages in real-time with their matches. This involves creating a Chat page with real-time messaging and notification features.
User Interaction Control: A system to regulate user interactions – users cannot skip a match in the free version of the application. However, in the paid version, users can skip up to three matches.
Reporting and Blocking Mechanism: A system that lets users report no-show incidents or antisocial behavior. Reported users should be blocked from the application for a month. This requires a Report/Block user functionality integrated into the UI.
Location Verification: The application should use phone location data to verify meet-ups.
User Interface: All these functionalities need to be unified under a clean, intuitive, and user-friendly interface. This includes creating Home, FAQ, Contact Us, and other auxiliary pages.
Project Specifics:
We require the app to be developed for either iOS or Android at this stage, based on the developer's expertise. Prior experience with secure user authentication, real-time messaging systems, and geolocation services is a must.
The developer will be provided with a detailed Business Requirement Document (BRD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents. We also have an example application built in React which will provide UI/UX designs, theming, and logos. Please note that these will be shared only once an NDA, attached to this job post, is signed and returned. We also have a detailed milestone payment plan which we will adhere to.
