UX/UI Designer Brief – Mobile App Project

Project Overview
We're developing a mobile app designed to enhance life at FIFO (Fly-In Fly-Out) village camps. The app is a utility-style tool that helps users stay informed, organized, and connected to daily schedules, facility access, and community updates. The goal is to streamline communication, improve access to facilities and activities, and make FIFO living more connected and enjoyable.

We are seeking a UX/UI designer to bring this idea to life through clean, thoughtful, user-focused wireframes and design concepts.

Your Key Responsibilities
-Design intuitive, mobile-first wireframes for a streamlined user experience (iOS & Android).
-Collaborate on a logical app flow based on limited but essential features.
-Create a clean, modern interface that supports quick information access.
-Design consistent and user-friendly UI elements (tiles, cards, buttons, etc.).
-Ensure the design supports future scalability (additional features/modules).

Core App Elements You'll Help Shape
-A basic onboarding flow with gated access via code input.
-A customizable home/dashboard screen.
-Several informational pages (e.g., schedules, updates, lists).
-Static visual map component.
-Admin vs. general user UI considerations (basic permissions).

Features Not Included
-No chat, messaging, or social posting features (to avoid moderation risks)
-No complex booking systems initially
-No financial or personal info storage

Design Direction
-Clean, professional, minimalistic.
-A calm, welcoming color palette with a trustworthy feel.
-Modern sans-serif fonts (accessible, legible).
-Avoid heavy animations or over-designed elements — clarity > flair.

Design Deliverables
-Low-fidelity and/or mid-fidelity wireframes of all major screens.
-A simple design system or style guide (colors, fonts, components).
-Notes or documentation on UI logic, if needed.

What We're Looking For
-Prior experience designing functional mobile apps (not just marketing sites).
-Strong understanding of UX principles in utility-based apps.
-Experience with scalable design systems.
-Portfolio that shows clean UI, good use of space, and focus on user needs.
-Comfortable working with minimal brief and evolving features.
