# Anchor Alarm App for Boats - Need iPhone & Android Apps Built
Looking for someone to build me an anchor alarm app and get it live on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
**Timeline: About a month**
## What the app does:
It's primarily an anchor alarm - you drop anchor, open the app, set your position and alarm radius. If your boat drifts outside that circle, a loud alarm goes off. Perfect for sleeping on board or just monitoring while anchored.
The premium feature (£29.99/year) adds remote monitoring - so you can leave an old phone on the boat and check it from the beach or restaurant. But the main app is a fully functional anchor alarm that works great on its own.
## What I need built:
**Free features (main app):**
- GPS anchor alarm that works great on the boat
- Set anchor position after you've settled
- Adjustable alarm radius (10-200m) with visual circle
- Loud alarm + vibration when drifting
- Shows where your boat has been (tracking line on map)
- See current distance from anchor
- Works perfectly as a standalone anchor alarm
**Premium features (£29.99/year):**
- Leave phone on boat, monitor from another device
- Share monitoring with crew/friends
- 30-day history
- Push notifications to monitoring devices
## What you'll deliver:
- Design the app (needs to look professional)
- Build iPhone app and Android app
- Set up the server for remote monitoring
- Test everything thoroughly
- Create all App Store and Google Play screenshots
- Write store descriptions that sell
- **Submit to Apple App Store and get it APPROVED**
- **Submit to Google Play Store and get it APPROVED**
- **Both apps must be LIVE and downloadable**
- Fix any bugs for 30 days after launch
## IMPORTANT:
**Final payment only made when both apps are live and I can download them from the stores.** You handle all communication with Apple and Google if they reject anything.
## You need:
- A Mac (for iPhone development)
- Apps you've already got on the stores
- Experience with GPS and maps
- An eye for good design
## Payment:
- 20% - Project start, after we agree on designs
- 30% - Working apps I can test on my phone
- 20% - Submitted to Apple and Google
- 30% - **BOTH apps live and downloadable from stores**
