MVP in 2-4 days: Crawl event data and showcase in mobile app
Budget: $50 – $100 NZD
I need a simple crossplatform app with some sort of simple backend that has a list of upcoming events from various sources. This way, the user can simply open the app to check which events are coming up instead of having to visit dozens of different sites and docs every week.
As this is a super fast MVP, I’m looking someone who can easily setup some sort of AI agent to monitor the URLs I add, make the data editable by me (add/edit/delete) and show the data in a cross platform mobile app.
To keep time and cost at my low MVP budget, I imagine using a no-code/low-code tool like Bubble, Flutterflow etc. for the app and some sort of AI monitoring tool like ChatGPT, Jsonify, Apify or similar so I can just input URLs and the tool will extract the info automatically.
But I’m also open to self-coded approaches if you already have something you can reuse/repurpose to fit this MVP.
I imagine something like this data is needed for in the event table:
- Creation date
- Type
- Date and Time
- Title
- Description
- Location
- Price
- Image (optional)
- Source URL (website/doc/PDF)
- Active (true/false)

Simple Android/iOS app with no user auth, no IAPs etc. which:
1.0) Shows the data from the table in a list view, chronologically. The user can swipe up to see the expired events in grey or swipe down to see more future events. Tapping an event opens its external web URL from where it was scraped
1.1) Has a "Report" button by each event which simply opens the device’s email composer with the title of the activity in the subject line
1.2) At the end of the list, show a text like "Are we missing some events or places to find more local events? Let us know!". Tapping it simply opens the device’s email composer with the title of the event in the subject line
2) Has another screen with a list of static activities and places to go with the same table structure as the one used for events - I’ll add these manually in the DB.
3) Simple settings screen with some outgoing button links for T&C, Privacy policy and email support
Note: So the app’s menu bar will have a button for each of the 3 screens: “Static events”, “Calendar events” and “Settings.
