Live audio broadcasting app in xamarin forms/php
Budget: €250 – €750 EUR
Hi, we need to set up a live audio streaming service that will be listened to in broadcast by about twenty devices at a time. To do this we need:
1) A MOBILE APP
An app for ios and android made in Xamarin Forms that can be used in TRANSMISSION and LISTENING mode.
TRANSMISSION MODE (speaker)
very simple UI. no gfx, just 3 buttons.
The app must have the TRANSMIT, PAUSE and END button.
When the speaker presses TRANSMIT, the app starts recording audio from the microphone and simultaneously uploads it to a PHP server page.
PAUSE pauses.
END stops the transmission.
LISTENING MODE (listener)
very simple UI. no gfx, just 2 button.
The app must have a LISTEN and a STOP button.
When the listener presses LISTEN, the app must play the audio transmitted by the speaker (App in TRANSMISSION mode) in broadcast (same stream from the same position to all client devices), that is, not from the start of the recording but from the point where the speaker is speaking (live streaming).
STOP stops playing.
A maximum delay of 3 seconds is allowed between speaker and listening.
Streaming in WAV or MP3 format is possible, you can choose the best solution.
2) WEB SERVER
we need two PHP pages, one to receive the audio stream transmitted from the speaker App in TRANSMISSION MODE, and one to stream it to the devices in LISTENING MODE.
TIMELINE
A first version must be ready by 20/11/2022.
The completed project is needed by 15/12/2022.
REQUIREMENTS
The mobile App must be developed in Xamarin Forms.
Existing open source streaming services/platforms should not be used as we need to integrate the two required pages into an existing framework.
No php frameworks (such as laravel) allowed. Just Bootstrap is allowed and pure PHP.
