We are looking for an experienced Android developer to create a Live Wallpaper for Android devices, using Android Studio and Kotlin. The project involves developing an app that displays an interactive real-time wallpaper with customizable features such as text and video.
Developer Profile:
Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Android app development with Android Studio and Kotlin.
Required Skills:
• Development with Android Studio.
• Advanced knowledge of Kotlin.
• Experience in creating and customizing Live Wallpapers.
• Familiarity with using ExoPlayer to play videos within a Live Wallpaper.
• Implementation of SharedPreferences to save user settings.
• Performance optimization for Android devices.
• Desirable: Knowledge of customizing views and integrating animations and visual effects in wallpapers.
Project Requirements:
Live Wallpaper in Android Studio:
• The project should be developed using Android Studio and Kotlin.
• The Live Wallpaper should display a background video and overlay a text (maximum of 2 lines).
It's very simple a text in front of a video, the text at 3/4 height.
The details of the main page, settings, and about will be shared with the selected developer.
We only need the wallpaper application so we can finish it to our liking.
Upload any video for testing.
Technical Requirements:
1. The project must be compatible with devices running Android 5.0 or higher.
2. The code must be well-organized, following best Kotlin development practices.
3. Use any video (any video image for 10 seconds, looping) to test.
Deliverables:
• The developer must deliver all source files of the project in a .zip compressed file at the end of the project.
• The code must be clean, well-commented, and follow standard Android development conventions.
Additional Requirements: Only developers with experience in Live Wallpapers and Kotlin will be considered.
Please include previous examples of Android applications you have developed, preferably related to Live Wallpapers or multimedia applications.
Since this is a very small project, we don't accept milestones; the project will be fully paid off at the end.
