Live Streaming Platform Development

I’m building FAXSON, an entertainment-focused video platform dedicated to live streaming events. The core experience must feel seamless for viewers: they arrive, choose a live show, and interact instantly through a real-time chat overlay.
Here’s the vision in a nutshell:
• A responsive web (and ideally mobile-ready) interface where scheduled live events are showcased.
• A low-latency streaming pipeline—WebRTC, RTMP + HLS, or a comparable stack—able to scale from a few hundred to many thousands of concurrent viewers without buffering.
• Integrated live chat that updates in real time, pinned beside or beneath the video feed and resistant to channel-wide lag spikes.
• Creator & admin dashboards for scheduling streams, starting / stopping broadcasts, moderating chat, and viewing basic analytics (viewer count, engagement time, message volume).
• Secure user authentication (OAuth or social sign-ins welcome) plus standard account settings.
• Clean, modern UI/UX that can carry the FAXSON brand identity.
While the launch version only requires live chat as the audience interaction layer, I’d like the codebase structured so future upgrades—playback recording, multiple stream switching, ticketed events—can be slotted in without rewrites. Containerised deployment (Docker / Kubernetes) and CDN distribution are bonuses, as is familiarity with AWS MediaLive, Wowza, or similar cloud streaming services.
Deliverables
1. Fully functional MVP deployed to a test environment.
2. Source code in a Git repository with clear setup instructions.
3. Technical documentation covering architecture, build steps, and guidelines for future feature additions.
4. Post-launch support window for bug fixes and minor tweaks.
Success is measured by stable playback at <5-second end-to-end latency, chat messages landing in under a second, and a clean UI that works flawlessly on modern browsers and phones.
