Launch-Ready, Simple Radio Station Mobile App

Build a simple, launch-ready radio station mobile app for iOS and Android.

The app is live-stream only. There is no on-demand audio, no user accounts, and no push notifications.

Core functionality:

Cross-platform mobile app using a single shared codebase (React Native or Flutter preferred)

Supports iOS and Android

One-tap Play / Pause for a live audio stream

Audio must continue playing when the app is minimized or the screen is locked

External listener streaming URL will be provided (hosted by Live365; standard HLS/AAC audio stream)

Metadata display:

Read and display stream metadata (song title / artist) if available

Metadata display is informational only

No playlists, history, schedules, or logic beyond displaying provided metadata

UI should show station logo, a simple “Now Streaming” label, and current song/artist

App sections:

Listen (live stream, play/pause, metadata)

Contact (tap-to-call phone number and tap-to-email address using native apps)

About (static text)

Donations:

Include a Donate button that opens an external website URL

No in-app payments

Design:

Station logo and brand colors will be provided

Clean, simple UI with no complex animations

Podcasts or recorded shows

Push notifications

Ads or underwriting systems

User accounts or logins

Chat, messaging, or forms

Content management system (CMS)

Offline audio

Program schedules or DJ logic

Deliverables:

Fully functional iOS and Android apps

Source code ownership transferred to us

Assistance with initial App Store and Google Play submission

Basic documentation for updating stream URL and contact info

Developer requirements:

Experience with audio streaming apps

Experience supporting background audio on iOS and Android

Clear English communication
