Kotlin Rick and Morty API App
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I'm looking for a Kotlin developer in Android Studio to create an Android app with 4 screens that connects to the Rick and Morty API. The design of the screens is flexible, so you can use your creativity. Not bad and not too advanced
Key Tasks:
- create an app for fans of Rick and Morty that, among other things, allows users to invent new characters and retrieve information from the Rick and Morty app:https://rickandmortyapi.com/
- The app consists of the following 4 screens:
- Screen #1: Showing Rick and Morty characters from rickandmortyapi.comScreen showing list of Rick and Morty characters taken from the ape - ref the "characters" endpoint documentation in the websitehttps://rickandmortyapi.com/documentation
- Screen #2: Show the user's Rick and Morty characters Here you see a list of the characters that the user has saved in the local database based on the logic implemented in screen #3 below.
- Screen #3: Create your own Rick and Morty character On this screen, the user should be able to create new Rick and Morty characters. The characters must be stored in a local database on the device.
- Screen #4: Custom Screen Here you have the opportunity to decide for yourself which functionality should be included. The requirements for this screen are that it is connected to the Rick and Morty theme, and ideally that it is connected to either the Rick and Morty API and/or data stored on local database (see screens #3 and #4). This also means that this screen must contain some kind of functionality and interaction, and therefore cannot be just a static page of the app.
- Write a 500-word report explaining the project
Ideal Skills:
- Proficiency in Kotlin
- Experience with Android app development
- Familiarity with API integration
- Good understanding of UI/UX design
- Ability to write clear and concise reports
Use Techniques that follows with the document
